Q: What sports can I use Diamond View with?
A: Diamond View works with any sport that has chain-link fences: baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, and track & field. If there's a chain-link fence at the sideline or end zone, you can mount it there.
Q: Does Diamond View work with all phone sizes?
A: Diamond View's magnetic system is designed for phones weighing up to 250g and with standard dimensions (most iPhones and Android phones). If you have an unusually heavy phone or an extended case, contact us for compatibility before purchasing.
Q: How secure is the magnetic hold?
A: Our four N52 neodymium magnets provide a secure grip through typical protective cases. The mount has held phones steady through jumps, fence vibrations, and crowd cheers. However, we always recommend testing it on a practice day before game day.
Q: Can I use Diamond View in cold or wet weather?
A: Yes. Diamond View is built with weather-resistant ABS plastic and stainless steel components. It holds up through rain, sun, and cold temperatures. Magnets perform well in all weather conditions. Rinse with fresh water after wet games if salt water is present.

Installation & Setup
Q: How do I install Diamond View?
A: It takes 3 seconds: (1) Place the mount on the fence chain-link, (2) Push inward, (3) Rotate to lock. No tools, no screws. To remove, reverse the rotation and pull.
Q: What fence sizes work?
A: Diamond View grips standard 2-2.5mm diameter chain-link fence wire. Most youth sports facilities use this standard. If your fence has unusually thick or thin wire, contact us to verify compatibility.
Q: How do I attach my phone?
A: Snap your phone onto the metal mounting plate on the back of Diamond View. The four magnets will grip your phone securely. If your phone doesn't have metal (all-aluminum or all-plastic), use the included steel adhesive plate placed on your phone's back.
Q: Can I rotate my phone after installing?
A: Yes. You can freely rotate your phone from portrait to landscape mode while it's snapped on. The magnetic grip stays firm regardless of orientation.
Q: Does the adhesive plate damage my phone?
A: The steel plate is thin (less than 1mm) and sticks to your phone with a strong adhesive that won't leave residue when removed. I
Durability & Maintenance
Q: How long will Diamond View last?
A: Diamond View is built to last multiple seasons of regular use. The ABS plastic is durable and UV-resistant, and the magnets maintain their strength indefinitely. Most wear comes from outdoor storage; we recommend keeping it in a bag when not in use.
Q: What if my phone falls off?
A: The magnetic grip is designed to hold phones steady, but extreme motion or heavy impact could cause a phone to detach. For protection, consider a phone case with metal inserts or use the included steel adhesive plate.
Q: How do I clean Diamond View?
A: Wipe with a damp cloth and dry. If salt water or dirt accumulates, rinse under fresh water and dry completely. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers.
Compatibility & Phones
Q: My phone has a thick case—will it still work?
A: It depends on the case thickness. Cases under 3mm generally work fine. Thicker cases may reduce magnetic grip. If your case is plastic with no metal, you'll need to use the included steel adhesive plate.
Q: Can I use Diamond View with a MagSafe-equipped phone?
A: Yes, but MagSafe magnets may interact with our N52 magnets. We recommend testing on a practice day first. If you experience issues, use a non-magnetic case or the steel adhesive plate instead.
Q: Will Diamond View interfere with wireless charging?
A: No. The steel adhesive plate is thin enough that wireless charging still works. If using bare magnets against your phone, remove the plate before charging.
Q: What about Android phones with no built-in metal?
A: Use the included steel adhesive plate. Stick it to your phone's back, and the magnets will grip it securely.
Performance & Recording
Q: Can I really watch the game hands-free?
A: Yes. Once your phone is mounted, you can view live on your screen or just watch the field directly. The mount frees your hands so you're not holding your phone the entire game.
Q: How much do I need to angle the phone to avoid glare?
A: It varies by time of day and sun angle. Since you can freely rotate the phone, you can adjust in real-time to find the best viewing angle—usually 15–30° from perpendicular to the ground.

Q: How long does shipping take?
A: Standard shipping is 5-7 business days. Expedited shipping options are available at checkout.
Q: Can I return Diamond View if I'm not happy with it?
A: Yes. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If Diamond View doesn't meet your expectations, return it in original condition for a full refund (less shipping).
Q: Do you ship internationally?

Q: I ordered a multi-pack. Can I give one to a friend as a gift?
A: Absolutely. Our 2-Pack and 3-Pack bundles are perfect for sharing with other sports parents.
Technical & Warranty
Q: Is Diamond View patented?
A: Yes. Diamond View is protected by a pending U.S. patent (USPTO #64/094,934, filed June 2026). We're converting to a full utility patent in 2027. This means our design and twist-lock mechanism are legally protected.
Q: What's your warranty?
A: Diamond View includes a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. This covers the plastic body, magnets, and mechanical components. Warranty does not cover damage from drops, extreme weather, or misuse.
Q: What if my magnets lose strength?
A: N52 neodymium magnets maintain their strength indefinitely under normal conditions. If your magnets ever weaken, contact us and we'll replace them free of charge within the warranty period.
Q: Can I modify Diamond View?
A: We don't recommend modifications, as they could compromise the twist-lock mechanism or magnetic hold. If you need a customization, reach out to us—we may be able to help.

Tips & Tricks
Q: What's the best time of day to record?
A: Early morning or late afternoon games often have better lighting angles. Midday sun can create glare. Adjust your phone angle to find the sweet spot.
Q: How do I avoid recording my shadow?
A: Position yourself at the side or corner of the field so your body doesn't block the camera's view. Experiment before first pitch.
Q: Can I use Diamond View on practice days to adjust my setup?
A: Absolutely. We recommend testing it in practice so you're confident on game day. This is especially helpful if you're new to hands-free recording.
Q: Should I share video clips on social media?
A: That's up to you! Many parents share highlights with family and friends. Be mindful of privacy and any league rules about recording and sharing.
Troubleshooting
Q: My phone keeps sliding off the mount. What's wrong?
A: Check that: (1) Your phone is centered on the mounting plate, (2) The adhesive steel plate is clean and free of dust, (3) Your phone case isn't too thick. If the case is over 3mm, consider switching to a thinner case or bare phone.
Q: The twist-lock won't grip the fence tightly.
A: Make sure you're: (1) Fully pushing in before rotating, (2) Rotating exactly 90°, (3) Using the correct fence wire size (2-2.5mm). If the fence wire is damaged or bent, it may not grip properly.
Q: My phone isn't sticking to the magnets.
A: This usually means: (1) The steel adhesive plate isn't attached to your phone, or (2) Your case is too thick for the magnets to grip. Try removing your case or using the steel plate.
Q: The mount fell off the fence during the game. How do I prevent this?
A: This is rare, but can happen if: (1) You didn't twist far enough to lock, (2) The fence wire is damaged or bent. Always rotate 90° and listen for the "click." If your fence is damaged, try a different section of fence.
